Butterfly Sisterhood Created at Heal The Healer Retreat!

Certified Practitioner, Rapid Resolution Therapy

What do you get when 20 warm, bright, enthusiastic, caring, terrific therapists get together on the Gulf Coast of Florida? MAGIC! That's just what was created in the Heal The Healer retreat held the weekend of March 8th in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

The weekend was created by four exceptional therapists: Dr. Elizabeth Michas, Melinda Paige (shown on right), Molly Sanford and Dr. Sharon Richie-Melvan. They gave presentations and demonstrations on topics we requested and helped us work on our own personal issues. We even had a workshop on being Happy For No Reason. Special thanks to Elizabeth, who lives in Ft. Walton, we had great restaurant recommendations where 20 of us piled in for good food and great fun! And the laughter abounded. We stayed up till all hours just laughing and talking.

I can truly say the weekend exceeded my expectations. Molly, Sharon, Melinda and Elizabeth are not only skilled therapists, but skilled teachers and master listeners as well. Everyone with whom I spoke said they learned so much and were so appreciative of the "no question is silly" philosophy of the group.

In the middle of the weekend our organizers presented us with a string of butterflies and asked that we each cut a butterfly off the string to take home. And thus the Butterfly Sisterhood was created. What an incredible journey we butterflies had. We took flight as the weekend progressed as we all became more comfortable with each other and with our skills. I've been in touch with most participants since the weekend and one described her experience as "transformative."

It was truly a memorable weekend. One that I hope you will all get to experience.
